With Pinterest, social media, blogs and even old school magazines there is #interiorinspo out there in abundance. But with so much content being pumped out, it's sometimes difficult to weed out the inspirational from the dreary. Fear not, we've done the hard work for you (we knew that endless scrolling would come in handy one day) and rounded up the best UK interior blogs out there.
1. Swoon Worthy
Kimberley calls her blog the 'home of eclectic boho glam', which we LOVE, and her home fully lives up to the description. Check out her gorgeous house tour but also, she has some amazing DIY ideas and as she says, she has made the best of what she can on a budget. With click worthy blog titles like 'The compromises we made when we bought our house' we guarantee you'll be knee deep into this blog in no time.
2. Sarah Awiscombe
If you like bright, colourful, rebellious interiors then Sarah's blog is where it's at. She's an interior stylist and blogger and we guarantee her home is unlike any other you have seen. Sarah has a real talent for styling and her approach is a 'throw out the rule book and let your personality shine through' kind of vibe. Hot pink ceiling in the living room anyone? Yes please! We LOVE it all and guarantee you will find some inspo no matter what your own personal style.
3. 2LG
Ok, so not strictly a blog we admit but we guarantee you will find more inspiration on this site than most of the blogs out there! This design duo keep things simple and chic but with an amazing use of subtle colour. There's no way you can have missed their pink bathroom design which has been on literally every interior lover's instagram feed over the past few months. See also the amazing live/work space that they did for the Ideal Homes Show that we covered here, it was hands down the best thing at the Show.
4. Grillo Designs
We first came across Medina on Instagram and loved her fresh take on the interiors blogger game. Firstly, she rents her place in Birmingham but has not let this stop her creating the most AMAZING space. Her hallway transformation (above) is serious goals, trust us, the stairs are so different to anything else we've seen. Not only that but she is a DIY queen, so many ideas but the desk nook she created is genius. Get a similar look with our oak blogger desk.
5. The Edited
Unless you've been living under a rock you've definitely heard of Erica Davies who writes The Edited, she is literally EVERYWHERE right now, mostly all over Instagram. We know her mostly for her fashion but her interiors game is also so on point. What's not to love about her bold use of colour, texture and liberal use of house plants. We thought we would be sick of seeing her kitchen now it's in every magazine and blog but turns out we cant get enough. Those pendant lights! The pink herringbone tiles! The gold handles! It's the gift that keeps on giving.
6. Design Soda
We love following Ruthie aka Design Soda Ruthie on Instagram and her posts of her eclectic home always cheer our day. Design Soda is her blog of the same name and is equally inspiring but also has some fab articles on travel and rounds ups of great products available at reasonable prices.
7. Mad About The House
Multi award winning blogger and author of two amazing books, Kate Watson_Smyth, the grand dame of interiors practically invented the interior blogging game. There's a reason she's the number one interior blogger and that's because she has an unrivalled eye for style that's apparent across all her work. You will be inspired by her home but equally by the interiors she pulls together for her series 10 Beautiful Rooms. Her new book, Mad About The House, is full of practical tips and amazing inspiration but that deserves a separate blog post of it's own.
8. Topology
We've talked about them on the blog before and no doubt we will talk about them again because these ladies are just KILLING things in the interior world right now. They are design duo, Athina and Amy and their blog is a mix of house tours, tips and tricks and inspiration. We are currently loving Athina's living room makeover and they always have some fab discount codes for great brands (including Urbansize!).
9. Forward Features
This award winning London duo blog about all the latest trends but also keep us up to date on industry news. These guys have their fingers on the pulse and every month do an update on the new launches (who knew Made were launching a new bicycle range?!). We are also loving their #rentingrules series which gives some great interiors advice for people who rent.
